I'm 47 and have been running about 5 years averaging 35KM/week running every other day. I'm a severe over-pronator and was initially advised to get supportive motion control shoes. I had various injuries the first year and stumbled upon the Evolution Running technique. Once I changed my technique all the aches and pains went away. I upped my distance last month and am now running 10KM every day. While I've had no issues with my motion control shoes, I was really curious to try a barefoot shoe to see what kind of difference there'd be. After lots of research I decided upon the Merrell Road Glove and I've just returned from my first 10KM run. I know it's only been one day, but WOW! I can't remember the last time I've felt this refreshed after a run. I ran faster than usual but feel less exhausted and I'm not sure why. Maybe I adjusted my technique somewhat for a more efficient gait. Anyway, I'm very surprised. I have no aches or pains at all (my technique in my old shoes was pretty good), even though I really felt the ground and the impact. I hope these positive results continue and that the shoes prove durable. I'll report back in a few months.

I would just like to thank merrell for replacing my shoes. This company really stands behind their product. These shoes are fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to try a minimalist shoe. I have ran over 20 miles in them and my feet have never felt as strong. I will continue to buy from merrell …

These are by far the best minimalist shoes I`ve tried and I have tried alot of them. Merrell designers I hope you will consider making the road gloves with more nuetral and conservative color options like you did with the black trail gloves.
