Merrell Limited Warranty
At Merrell®, we believe in sharing the simple power of being outside with everyone. It’s a belief that defines our business, strengthens our brand, and reaffirms our commitment to delivering exceptional footwear products. Most of all, it provides us with a better understanding of what you expect from a quality outdoor product.
Wolverine World Wide, Inc., owner of the Merrell brand (“Merrell”), warrants its Merrell footwear to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the verified date of purchase or delivery (if later than the date of purchase) by the original end-user purchaser. If a Merrell product fails due to any material or manufacturing defect during this period then, after inspection and verification, we will reimburse the purchaser for repairs or replace it at our discretion.
This warranty only applies in the United States and it does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, accident, improper care, modification, or the natural degradation of colors or materials (including waterproofing and odor control) over time. Because Merrell cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this warranty applies only to products sold by Merrell or authorized Merrell retailers, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Merrell reserves the right to reject warranty claims for Merrell products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including Merrell products sold on unauthorized Internet sites.
If you believe your Merrell product has failed due to a defect in materials or workmanship, you can contact Merrell Customer Service through the online damaged/defective form https://www.merrell.com/US/en/defectiveclaimform or call (800) 288-3124 to make a warranty claim. The following requirements apply to the Merrell Limited Warranty claims process:
- Proof of purchase indicating when and where you purchased the product is necessary to process all warranty claims.
- We will contact you and issue a return authorization (“RA”) number and mailing instructions if physical inspection of your product is required.
- All packages to Merrell should be shipped via insured parcel and are at your cost.
- Warranty claims can take up to 6-8 weeks to process.
There are no warranties which extend beyond those stated herein. Any implied warranties that may be applicable to products, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty.
Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Under no circumstances shall Merrell be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based upon breach of this warranty, breach of contract, or strict liability. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
