These boots are amazing! They take some time to break in fully but they are well worth it. The leather is extremely durable. When I'm wearing these boots I feel like my feet are invincible. The more they wear the better they look. They are easy to clean and maintain. No complaints what so ever.

How do you most use this product?: Everyday use.

I just bought my second pair. The first pair lasted 10+ years. I still have and use them, even if they have a whole in them. These boots are without a doubt the best I have ever owned. My old pair, has traveled all over Europe and then to the top of Mt. Fuji. I would pay double the amount if I had to. They are 100% water proof and I hope that Merrell NEVER stops making them. I look forward to my next pair in 2022. Thanks

Product Size Rating: Smaller than Expected

I have my pair of Wilderness - Original for about 3 weeks. They are everything other reviewers said (positive) and more. FWIW I'd like to share some of my experiences in the last 3 weeks as it may help some of you. Before making this purchase (frankly more than I had/have ever spent on boots) I went to a Merrell store to see them and get a feel for them; and to compare then to Wilderness - Canyon. There was a big difference to me, and frankly it helped me with the cost difference between the two. Second, the pair I tried on in the store felt more rigid and bigger than the same size I purchased online. Again, it was noticeable, I don't know why. I had some time before the weather started turning cold and used a leather conditioner on them before even wearing them. They have certainly broken in well in a shorter period of time than most. I purchased the boots for warmth and anticipated quality to last many years. The only "challenge" that came up was the color of the laces - blue. Don't get me wrong they look fine, it is just that I wanted to wear them to work (College) where blue laces would just not go over that well. I contacted Merrell Customer service and they suggested a source where I might purchase black laces. When that did not work out I let them know and thanked them for their time and efforts, and to my complete surprise they mailed me laces. I was hesitant to share that information as I don't want to be the cause of a flood of requests, but I wanted to let you know that Merrell Customer Service is the standard by which all other companies will need to be compared. So for me another great pair of footwear (Tough Gloves are heaven)and an absolute fantastic experience with Merrell.
