These are amazing shoes for little kids. On our 3rd pair for our oldest (6 years). But need size 8 (and eventually 9) for our 2nd boy (2.5) and they stopped making them. Bring them back!! So confusing why they would stop making them

This is the second pair of Merrell Barefoot shoes I've purchased for my 5 year old son. His first pair were Flux Gloves. I tried the Trail Gloves because of the elastic laces and velcro closure since he's still learning to tie his shoes. I also wanted a shoe that he could use on trail runs with me. This shoe is his main shoe and if it is anything like his last pair of Merrell's, will last for a long time. Its worth the extra money for the quality and to know that they will help with natural foot development. The barefoot shoes are flat without artificial structure that keeps the foot from working as nature intended. I think this will benefit him for the rest of his life.

I purchased this shoe last year, and it was, by far, my son's favorite shoe!! Last rear he had the "Granite" color...this year we are ordering "Otter" and perhaps "Peacock Blue" as well. As a single mom value is important. This shoe is one that will last and worth the price. My son wore them everywhere. Hiking in Colorado, to the park, to ride his bike. It fits true to size. He said they were comfortable and soft. He loves having no laces as well. It looks great with pants and shorts. We hope this shoe continues to be offered because it is definately a keeper! Many of my friends have since purchased this shoe, after seeing my son wear them, and love them as well!!!

My son loves this shoe. It is so easy to run/play in, and so easy to get on and off. I wish I didn't have to buy them so often, but he is growing fast...they would really last longer than he can wear them as they are very durable!

My daughter is the type of kid who refuses to keep her shoes on in the summer. She would run around barefoot all day long and then track her dirty little feet all over the house when she was done. No matter how many times my wife and I corrected her, she would always manage to "lose" her shoes, claiming her feet were "too hot." The Solution: Merrell Trail Glove Kids I bought the first pair for her when she was six years old. She LOVED them. As she said, "Daddy, it feels like I'm floating on air." She also ABUSED them. I mean she seriously put these shoes through the ringer. Normally, a pair of kids sneakers lasts her 2-3 months. This pair of shoes was so well constructed that the only reason we retired them was because she outgrew them. We didn't get any of the normal rips, tears, peeling outsoles, etc... that you would normally get from a pair of kids shoes. So, your kid wants to build mud castles? No problem: Rinse them off and throw the in the washing machine. Swimming? No problem: They dry quickly and keep your kids feet safe on rock creek bottoms. How about run a 5K with dad? To easy. Bottomline: These shoes are seriously well constructed and your kids will love running in them. For me, it kept my kid wearing shoes in the summer which kept my house a little cleaner. We loved them so much that we purchased a second set.
