My very active 9/10 year old daughter got these as a gift last year and wore the waterproof toggle tailspins daily fall, winter, spring, summer, and fall in Northern Maine and they are still in one piece! She has simply outgrown them. I have to beg her to put snow boots on and remind her that the school prefers her to bring her shoes in dry to wear for gym. They brush off to clean very easily and toss in the dryer or sit in the sun and dry in no time and no smell, thank you! I am going to get myself a pair. I ordered her a bigger size that fit me and they feel great, a very sturdy, nice looking outdoor shoe and I have very difficult feet to please!
