As a Certified Reflexologist, I care for my feet and other people's feet in a professional and practical way. These boots fit my feet perfectly. They are light, warm, comfortable, and ideal for all day wear! The Merrell footbed is my favorite!

I bought these this winter because I've been wearing barefoot shoes and sandals for about 2 years now and couldn't imagine spending a winter in anything bulkier. I have to admit, at first they felt really weird. The lack of support around my ankle, the lightness of them, it all felt strange. The first time I tried them in store, I walked away. A week later I came back and got them and I have not regretted it one bit. They are incredibly light, comfortable and warm. I've done workouts in -15 degree weather in the snow in them and my feet did not get very cold at all. Unless you plan on standing without moving for half an hour, your feet will not be cold. I actually found that wearing them inside (as I work inside and do not change shoes) or wearing them in anything warmer than 0 degree weather will make my feet sweat a lot. That may be the only minus of the boots. That and the fact that the insole is not removable, sadly, so I have not attempted to wash them and they collect smell very well. Otherwise, I love these. I did not see them on the new site so I was very saddened by that but I will try to get my hands on at least one other pair because there's no way I am going back to other boots again. These will be my pick always! They fit almost true to size but I was able to get away with a 7.5 (I'm usually 8-8.5) for these, probably because they're pretty flexible. I liked the more snug fit so I went half a size lower.

I love, love, love my Barefoot Life Frost Glove waterproof boots! After transitioning to barefoot shoes for walking, working out, and life in general, I had wondered what to do when the weather turned cold. My old boots, not barefoot style, felt terribly uncomfortable. I decided to try the Frost Glove boot and I am SO glad I did. I have worn them almost every day, all day long, for the past few months and they still look good as new. During holiday travels to cold and snow, they kept my feet toasty warm and dry. I purchased my usual size, 9 1/2, which fit just fine. Thank you, Merrell, for creating a stylish, comfortable, barefoot boot!

I love these boots! They have the perfect amount of room for my toes, and are very comfortable for walking long distances. I especially love their flexibility around the ankle.

What a nice surprise that my Google search for "vegan winter boots" brought up a pair of Merrells!!! I had always loved your shoes prior to eliminating leather and wool products from my closet. Thank you, not only for having some vegan options (more please!!!) but for the handy vegan-friendly icon as well. These boots are very comfy, and very warm for the Michigan winter. Happy happy feet!
