I purchased my first pair of trail gloves over two years ago. They have lasted through trail runs, hikes, and just casual strolling around. I definitely would recommend these shoes to anyone.

I purchased the original trail glove when it came out 2+yrs ago and really had to give up on wearing them out to get these wider versions. I love the original for how it feels on the trail but wanted to rip them off my foot as soon as I was done running since they were too narrow and could never stand to wear them walking around. These wide hit the nail on the head. They didn't seem to require the 50-100mi break in period that the original ones did and felt great from day one. I ran a trail 20k race this weekend over sand, rocks, minimal pavement, gravel, etc and they felt perfect on everything. I run sockless and no problems with blisters or anything even with all the sand and dirt that was in them by the end. I often ride my motorcycle to the trail and these grip the pavement and footpegs better than my motorcycle boots do. Bottom line, if Merrell doesn't decide to release the Trail Glove 2 in a wide, then I hope they don't stop making these and if they do, I'll be stocking up on them before they are impossible to find.

These are awesome! I have wide feet and normally wear a 14wide in other brands (n*ke, n*w balanc*...) and avoided this model initially because it only goes to 13w. I tried the road glove and trail glove in 14 but they were too narrow and too long. I tried these in a 13w and they fit perfectly! I tried a competitors minimus in 13 and it was uncomfortably small. I wear a 13w in uniform boots and military dress shoes and these sneakers are sized according to that standard it seems. I couldn't be happier at this point! Adding this to the amazing feel of the merrell barefoot line and the awesome service and warranty you have made me a customer for life (I have also purchased merrells for 3 other family members so far)

I finally was able to try a pair of these on after debating on ordering for quite a while. All I have to say is I don't want to ever take them off. The fit is amazing. This is what a shoe is supposed to be. I already love how I can feel the earth beneath me. I feel like a kid again in them. I honestly think I may order a second pair. One question I have is if worn as a daily shoe how long until they start to break down on me? I have gone every six months or so in the past with running shoes but that was because the padding was wearing out, with a shoe that has little to no padding what should I expect Again, great shoe! Thanks a lot!!!

I love these shoes!! The regular sizes were too narrow for my feet but the wide are perfect. I really wish Merrell would come out with more colors in the wide size and maybe more styles. I will continue to purchase these shoes if Merrell continues to make them.
