Evaluated several other types of minimalist trail runners and these are hands down the best. I've logged 200+ miles so far, all trails and with extremely rocky, rough and - at times - fully submerged rain/creek terrain. Light on the foot but even when wet are 100% responsive. Sole and fabric are very durable - I typically tear up shoes in the first 50-100 miles and, except for mud stains, these things are holding up perfectly. Easy lace/grommet configuration for getting in and out and the fit is, well, like a glove.

I wear these for walking / hiking and the occasional bike ride. They are simply the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn!

I bought these when it started to snow and I was still wearing my Five Finger KSO's. I was freezing! These work great! I tried them on with a wool sock and got a size bigger than usual. I normally go barefoot in these but the socks help in the winter. These repel water very well. They are not the gore-tex but they work great and don't cost as much as the gore-tex. I have not had wet feet in CO so far this winter! My feet get hot when it warms up out outside so I just switch to my trail gloves.
