I now have two pairs of Avian Light Ventilators, one at each hospital I work at. I work in the operating room and am on my feet for 12 hrs. at a time sometimes. I am also 57 years old and slight joint pain and stiffness goes with the territory. These shoes are helping me keep up the grueling pace (along with ridding my diet of dairy). I highly recommend them; my feet and ankles no longer ache at work or feel stiff when i first get out of bed in the morning. They also give me good traction on slippery floors. My only complaint (a very small one) is that the laces don't stay tied if I don't double knot them.

Awesome shoes. I absolutely love them, they are so comfortable and I walk in them all day for my work. Light weight and very breathable, my feet do not get hot. I am getting another pair!

I've been having problems with plantar fasciitis for over a year. I've tried many different shoes and yesterday finally broke down and tried on this pair of shoes as I've had a few friends tell me to try them. It was almost instant relief. They are so comfortable. Yes they were pricey but I've wasted my money on several other pair of shoes that were just horrible. I'm a believer now :)
