  • Perfect zero drop shoe for running through mud in winter

I've already had a pair of Bare Access 3, but wanted the trail version for coping with the mud during winter runs off road. These have proven perfect for that purpose; far better than a pair of Trail Glove shoes that I used in the past. The small amount of cushioning in the Bare Access range is great; proven on longer half marathon length runs. I'd still recommend shoes with a thin minimal sole (Merrell Vapour Glove or Vivobarefoot offerings) when transitioning to barefoot style; they give better ground feel that intuitively forces the correct technique.
