The GODZone race continues apace, and day four sees a new addition to Team Merrell: Sabrina Verjee. She was part of another team – Movie AR – who lost a member to injury and decided not to continue.

The new blood will certainly help – Sabrina is an experienced adventure racer with over five years experience all around the world.

Before she joined up though, the team arrived into TA5 following a monumental bike ride of 151km across the 5,000 acre Molesworth Ranch.

Following a quick check in, there was no time for rest as the team went straight into the 1,850m climb covering the 38km trek to TA6. It’s understandably exhausting, but the team are feeling strong, in good spirits and due to make the next checkpoint around 5am local time.
