In 2020, when all major orienteering competitions were canceled due to the pandemic, I found myself highly motivated to explore new challenges, particularly in trail running. After dedicating many years fully to orienteering, I saw this as an opportunity to try something different. It turned out to be a great decision, as I achieved significant success at the Golden Trail World Series finals, where most of the best trail runners were competing, and a new career path began for me. After a couple of years of balancing both orienteering and trail running, I am now fully focused on trail running, particularly my favorite discipline: Skyrunning
