I love this shoe, but it falls apart after one season - par , oct. 30, 2020

I love these shoes. They feel like nothing, as they should. I understand the problem Merrel has - how can you make something as light and flexible as this shoe also durable. They failed in that department, unfortunately. If you step on something sharp, it will cut through the sole. If you walk with these on rocks or gravel, that will surely happen and as a result my shoes now have holes in them. I would buy them again, but at their current price they are ridiculous. I'll wait for them to be on sale somewhere.

I love these shoes! - par , août 19, 2020

I have owned and ran in the Vapor Glove 1, 2, 3 and 4. It's my favorite barefoot style shoe (i've had fivefingers, xero's & vivo's) The shoe is very flexible, durable and versatile. I've used them for running marathons, trail running, hiking, kayaking, canyoning and shopping :-) The sole is extremely durable and shows little wear even after running long distances. Even though it is very thin (which i like) it offers enough protection without losing your ground feel. The shoe is comfortable, easy to lace and easy to adjust. I usually wear injinji toesocks with the shoes and for me it's an unbeatable combination. Highly recommended!

nice, but collects gravel - par , nov. 01, 2019

+: - good grip on wet surfaces - good grip on damp trails (i hugely prefer these over my heavy hiking boots when hiking steep trails with wet grass/loose gravel/slippery tree roots) - fit when used dry - excellent grip on dry surfaces -: - collects gravel, not as bad when used dry with socks (but even then i have to take them off and empty them regularly), but i use these primarily for hiking/climbing through streams and then i have to empty them every couple hundred meters. - durability (top fabric has an almost built-in breakpoint where the sole is glued on and your toes bend. After three weeks of usage fabric is already fraying)
