The mid-height version of the Merrell endless summer essential for trail, bike and hike. Extra support around the ankle without compromise of the hyperventilating mesh upper due to trimmed down but efficient Dura leather strapping. Vibram® Multi-Sport Plus sole contains TC5+ rubber compound in traction zones for grip and durability.

I live in North Dakota, and could never find a good boot or shoe that would work great on the packed ice we get after they clean parking lots or streets. All other shoes I have owned, the soles would freeze and get rock hard; it's like wearing a pair of ice skates not on purpose. I bought my very first pair of Moab's the other night, and I will tell you right now I am very impressed with the grip they get on the ice and snow, and how comfortable they are. I will be keeping an eye out for other Merrell footwear also. Great job guys over there at Merrell, you've got yourself another customer.

Arizona Hiker By Dave A 2/9/2009
Hiking in Arizona is tough on footwear; the trails are sharp rocks and gravel, boulders are jagged and the sun almost any time of the year will burn unprotected skin in minutes. Each year I wear the bottoms of one or two pairs of boots down to nothing, it’s part of hiking in this environment. I only buy Merrell and I have found the Moab Ventilator Mid to be an excellent choice for year around Arizona hiking providing a solid, rugged shoe without sacrificing breathability and comfort.
