I bought a pair of Merrells and found them too narrow and too stiff. Gander Mountain wouldn't exchange them since I had worn them, but called Merrell and they were very accomodating. Swapped me for a different shoe and a wide width size which fits perfectly...no questions asked. Now that's what I call good customer service on top of a quality product. I'll be back when I need another pair.

After hearing many good things about Merrell, I decided to try a pair of the maob ventilators. I am a pilot but also work on a line crew. I move, fuel and clean planes all day in a hazardous environment. I took them out of the box just before work and I was amazed at the flexibility and comfort. The only thing that I had to change was to purchase an arch support insert, I have high arches and the insole seemed flat. Since I purchased the moab ventilators, they have been put to the test. In my job it is imperative that I am sure footed. The vibram sole is sticky, super tough and the shoe has put up with a lot of abuse, and still looks great. I will definitely be purchasing more of Merrell's products.

Great fit, nice and cool, and quality I have come to expect from Merrell. I am so glad I found this company. Have had a less than desirable experiences with other "name brand companies". From easy ankle roll over, to soles separating from upper in just a few months. Cracks in soles in a short period of time by my expectations. I would and have recommended Merrell to friends and acquaintances. I finally found the end of the rainbow.

Let me start by saying; please Merrell, don't discontinue this wide width all black shoe. I have worn these for 10 months and just ordered my second pair. Getting almost a year out of work shoes is very good. Probably walk 5-6 miles a day mostly on driveways and sidewalks and in and out of a delivery truck. These soles give much more support over rocks and hard edges but are still lightweight. Regular sneakers would only last about 3 months. My feet stay cool in the AZ summer. A good choice if you have to wear all black footwear for work. I ordered the other color for around the house. Any chance that we will see more color choices in a wide width?
