Barcelona, Spain
This is an Urban Hike so where better to start that with brunch or coffee! I love La Mila Brunch but there are lots of great spots in the area. Then head to Montjuïc to visit the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya - a lovely way to get out of the heat in summer months. Then continue through the Joan Maragall and Joan Brossa gardens - both so beautiful. End by enjoying the views over Barcelona at the Mirador del Alcalde.

With my Merrells, it felt effortless — like walking on air.

What I love the most is that, even though it’s not far from the city center, it feels like you’re miles away. You’re surrounded by nature, there’s a real sense of calm, and the views are spectacular. My tips would be: if you do this route, take your time. Bring something to snack on and look for the quieter spots to pause and enjoy some peace.
Follow Marta RodriguezThe gardens close at 8:00 PM in summer, but it’s best to check the schedule before you go as it can change depending on the season. There are public bathrooms near the main entrance. I recommend coming by metro if you can (the nearest stop is about a 10-minute walk away), because parking here is a nightmare, especially on weekends. Also, wear comfortable shoes; some parts of the route have slopes or dirt paths.
Any time of year is great - just check when the museum is open.
I love how varied the landscapes are from the beach to the mountains
to hidden corners in the city. There’s always something new to
explore just around the corner.
My fav hikes in Barcelon are:
• Montjuïc loop through the gardens
• Bunkers del Carmel
at sunrise
• The coastline walk from Barceloneta to Poblenou
I started my Instagram as a creative outlet, to share my favorite spots and everyday moments. The best thing has been connecting with a community of people who share the same curiosity and love for beautiful places.
Pair them with neutral tones and a relaxed, layered look they’re sleek enough to work with both sporty and casual city outfits.
Start small, go at your own pace, and don’t worry about looking the part just enjoy being outside and moving your body.
