The well-known Camino de Ronda is a 583-kilometer route that runs along the Catalan coast from Portbou, on the border with France, to Ulldecona, near the province of Castellón.A long time ago, this route was used for naval surveillance from attacks. Today it is a very well-maintained path, passing through coves and cliffs with impressive views of the Mediterranean Sea. We chose this 9km section that runs from Calella de Palafrugell to Palamós. It takes about 2.5 hours (although if you stop to take a swim, which we strongly recommend, it takes longer) and is a stunning coastal walk.

We chose this route because we love the sea and the views in this trail are amazing. It is perfect to do it with friends, family or by yourself. It is also a really fun trail as you can go for a swim in the sea, sunbathe and explore really charming Mediterranean villages and towns while you enjoy great food.
Follow Cris & MoniWe only hiked one way and took a train back - it's worth checking your journey before you travel.
All year round. However, if you want to do the route in summer we recommend arriving really early as it can get very crowded.
At first we had many questions about our trips and friends were always asking for recommendations. That is why we thought of creating an Instagram account where we could help everyone who wanted to travel. However in Instagram you can’t write detailed information and we still got lots of questions of activities, accommodation… and so we decided to create detailed guides explaining our adventures so that everyone could live them as we did.
Cris grew up in the mountain with her family and they spent their time together hiking their surroundings every weekend. It was the best time for her. Then she began to share her passion with friends and also with Moni.
We would love to get to know more about this place we call world, discover more cultures, live more adventures and create a travel community.
Appart from Costa Brava, which we love as you can see the Mediterranean Sea and also have a swim, que love Monte Perdido Cola de Caballo, Ruta del Cares and Peñalara.
We are leaving our footprints behind, make them count.
