Route
Start at Place de la Bastille and end at Place de la Concorde. As a
tourist or a Parisian, it’s a really good way to (re)discover famous
and beautiful spots in Paris (Place de la Bastille, Hôtel de Ville,
Le Marais, Le Centre Pompidou, Châtelet, Musée du Louvre, Jardin du
Palais Royal, Jardin des Tuileries, Place de la Concorde).
You have 2 options for this hike, 1/ is perfect for a chill and calm
hike with a nice view, the 2/ is perfect if you want to discover
Paris. If you have time, I will suggest you do both, starting with
the 2/ to discover Paris and going back to Bastille walking along
the Seine, you can also stop and sit on the docks to admire the view
before going back.
1/ Follow the road and walk along la Seine from Bastille to
Concorde 2/ Take the parallel and walk through Bastille, Le Marais,
Place des vosges, Le Centre Pompidou, Châtelet, Jardin du Palais
Royal, Musée du Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, Place de la Concorde

2 hours if you do the loop

Gentle, very little elevation

Comfy shoes and your phone to take pictures :)

Field Notes:
I always hang in the centre of Paris, most of my favorite spots are located in this area. When I have time, I love walking instead of taking the metro. I could put music in my ears or just a podcast and walk in the streets of Paris. I choose this hike because it’s the one I do the most. I love taking a drink (an iced coffee or a bubble tea) and just walking in the streets and enjoying the view. Where is the best view? My best view is sitting on the bridge of Pont Neuf and enjoying the view, you can also see the Eiffel Tower !
