We’re always satisfied with Merrell hiking boots, and keep coming back as he grows into larger sizes. They’re comfortable, waterproof, and provide superior slip resistance while hiking over wet rock as well as other footing. These are no exception. The colors are great, the style, and the specifically the comfort are on point!

I bought this shoe for my 8 year old. This is the first high top shoe he has worn. Once he put them on, he has been wearing them every day. He has a pair of Merrell Hydro Choprock which he loves, but he stopped wearing those to wear these, even on the hotter days. I purchased the yellow and he loves the color, too. He says they are very comfortable and one of his favorite shoes ever. I would definitely recommend this shoe.

I usually wear a 4 in kids so I always shop there first, especially since the women's version of this boot costs twice as much. It's true to size and they're comfortable and built well, but they're a bit narrow. I never had any problems with my other Merrell boots but these hurt the archs in my feet. Will have to take them back. Being in them longer than 5 minutes in-store is quite uncomfortable. Great boot, would recommend, but be aware they might be too narrow.

I purchased these boots for my daughter who went to a week long camp. I wanted something to help give her ankle support and these were new to the website just in time for me to order. She has a pair of low lace chameleon but those seemed heavier. Also we like the fact that they didn’t scream “I’m a girl” she appreciated the small touch of pink. Highly recommend these she didn’t have any complaints and enjoyed her hiking adventures.
