Hiking comfort! I have two pair. One for walking in Virginia and the other for hiking mountain trails in Colorado. Extremely comfortable and give great support. First WIDE width shoe I have found that is consistent in sizing. Only wish they had "eyelets" for laces instead of cloth loops.

Comfortable sneaker with great arch support I bought a pair of these sneakers from a local merchant after they told me that a lot of people return other sneaker brands and purchase Merrell sneakers. They felt comfortable when I tried them on, and I noticed that they gave me better arch support then any other sneakers I ever had. They were so comfortable I put my old sneakers in the box and wore them home. I work at a job where I am on my feet all day, and I am happy that I bought the sneakers because my feet are comfortable all day. I just bought another pair, and I won’t be looking for sneakers anywhere else from now on .

PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL MOAB... This was going to be my 4th pair of Moab Ventilator (wide) for hiking and everyday use. I have erythromelagia (chronic burning feet, even in cold weather), which requires as much ventilation as possible, and I had an unsuccessful neuroma surgery on my right foot, which requires a wide toebox. After years of trying shoes for a few days only to return them to the store, I finally lucked on these, and they are basically the only kind of closed shoes I can wear with only a tolerable amount of pain. I have one pair for yard work, one pair for everyday use and one hightop pair for hiking. Since they are starting to wear out, I was going to start buying a few more, but as soon as I tried them on at the store, I knew something was wrong: even though I got them in the same size wide, they constricted my foot, and the back of my heel could slide out of them very easily. I still bought them to see if they would improve (even though these never needed a break-in period for me), and only then did I realize that these were "version 2.0". It will never cease to amaze me how companies feel the need to change a perfectly good product! I know this is pointless, but if you have a few original 8.5W lowtop and hightop (non-waterproof) left in a corner of a factory in Vietnam, I will take them, cosmetic damage and all...!

Would recommend for wide feet. Finding truly wide footwear is always a challenge. These hikers are True to spec. Very comfy with good support. Planning to buy another pair for backup when these wear out.
