Fantastic shoes!

I bought these for my 4-year old, and he loves them! They stay securely on his feet, he is able to run in them just as well as his sneakers, and they fit just right. He's been wearing them very hard (and non-stop) and they are holding up. It's a well-built shoe! The onto reason I gave 4 stars, instead of 5, is because the closures are too difficult for him to loosen and tighten on his own - if he was maybe a year or so older, I think it would be fine. And when he's tried to wear them without socks, he has complained about the inside of the shoe bothering him (but maybe he will get used to it). But despite those two things, I will definitely be buying these again when he outgrows the current pair.

Great sandal, but broke on 2nd day of use

We love Merrell footware, but were unfortunate in this pair of sandals - one of the loops holding the shoelace snapped on the second day of use. My son thought they were great the couple of times he wore them.
