runs big, not warm, stylin tho Runs big and broke in weird as a result. I'll probably end up with a warranty claim, as the sole is starting to detach at the med head. Not that warm, and I've never had issues with cold feet or circulation. Damn good looking boot though.

Very good boot. This is a very lightweight, comfortable, and waterproof boot that you can wear in any setting/season. It looks great and keeps your feet warm and dry. It runs large though so I had to send them back and get a half size smaller. It is also pretty roomy and somewhat hard to tie up tight, but that is the only reason why I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5.

Nearly perfect for me... I really like most of this boot! My story may be a little long winded, but also may be useful to someone, and perhaps informative to the manufacturer. The construction of the boot is very nice. I love the old style D-rings and speed lacing, as I do not like the current trend of using webbed fabric for lacing eyelets that is so prevalent in a lot of shoes and hiking boots these days. The sizing was a little tricky for me. I have been wearing Moab Ventilators all summer for my walks. I purchased a 10.5, as I could not quite get my foot into a Moab size 10 comfortably. I seem to need the extra width, and have a bit too much space in the toe as a result. That being said, many reviewers of this boot recommended getting a half size smaller, so I figure a 10 would work. Well, it mostly does. I have quite a bit of toe space, but when I put them on with my regular crew socks, they are just a very wee bit loose, though the width seems good. I have to struggle a bit to get the laces tight enough to hold my feet tight. The cover flap below the lacing pretty much runs out of space at the edge of the lacing slpt. When I stand, my toes visibly spread out to slightly bulge the sides of he shoe, not squeezing my foot or toes at all, which is good in my view. Two pairs of sock makes for a really snug comfortable fit, and that is mostly fine for my intended winter use. One very small gripe is regarding the dust flap behind the lower half of the boot behind the laces: When I try to get the laces snug, the leather is much too supple, and it bunches up. Almost impossible to make it flat and tight, especially at he top. I think that it would be better if it were more rigid, and went up behind the rest of the lacing area. The top edge sticks up, rumpled as I said, between the laces where it ends. It does not affect comfort, only appearance, and will likely gather dirt/dust/snow or whatever behind the flap. So, the boots are nearly perfect, wearing two pairs of cotton crew socks in cold weather. Probably would be perfect with one pair of thick wool socks. The boots are lightweight, definitely not as bulky or heavy as the old European made Tyrolean waffle-stomper style boots that I had 20 years ago. hey are comfortable for my aging feet which have developed some nerve problems. I wanted to also buy a pair of the Sugarbush waterproof while they were on sale, but I procrastinated, and my size is out of stock now, assuming they would be a size 10 as well. I like Merrell's products, and their heart seems to be in the right place. I see that they do make at least one pair of very fine boots in the US, (I really want a pair of those Wilderness boots!) and I would love to see more footware made here.
