Comfortable shoe for everyday use This is about my 10th pair of this shoe over the past half dozen years. I developed a very bad neuroma on my foot which was very painful and this was the only shoe I found that helped alleviate the pain. Very comfortable and durable.

Awesome, unique appearance and style Very comfortable, nice slip on feature for easy on/off on the go shoe. Unique style makes it something different from other shoe styles.

Best light hiker EVER This is my 5th pair of Chameleon shoes. Bought because they slip on. No shoelaces. Each pair lasts about a year of daily wear and hiking Light enough, rugged enough, good grip on wet surfaces. These are my "go to" shoes.

Comfortable but too soft/flexible for rocky hikes. I previously had Chameleon III Ventilator gtx, loved them, 2 pairs over 7 years. Went to REI to get another pair, they said the line had evolved to Chameleon Prime. My old III had a stiff hard last, good for rocky trails. The Primes are way too soft flexible (as are the Moabs). The soft flexible last/sole only good for dirt/sand trails and urban wear, where they're super comfortable. Not for rocky trails.

OK overall As a defence contractor in Iraq, I have wore these daily for about a year and a half. I usually walk and run on loose rock, dirt, and pavement. After a week the mesh/netting on the sides began tearing where the shoe bends at the toes, creating a bit of an eyesore. The rest of the shoe has held up quite well. The sole is starting to seperate from the rest of the shoe though, but after 1.5 years of wear it has lasted longer than I expected. The insole wore down after about 2 months of daily wear, but I replaced them with some custom dr.s versions. The sole grip was great for the first couple months but after the outer layer/coating wore down they became dangerous to wear when the pavement was wet, no traction at all. Surprisingly I have had no issue with the stretch laces. Overall, they held up better than most shoes out here, but cosmeticly they failed after a couple weeks.
