Since 2010, Merrell’s Down & Dirty Obstacle Race presented by Subaru has been encouraging thousands of athletes to test their limits over military fitness-inspired tracks across the USA. 2014’s schedule includes Detroit on August 24th.

The Detroit run begins at Kensington Metropark, with start times between 7:30 and 9:30am. There are both three or six mile runs, costing $75 and $85 respectively.

The runs take in varying scenery from the ball fields and snow sledding hills through rolling fields and lush forests.

The Down & Dirty Mud Run is going to be venues across the United States throughout the year. Here’s the full schedule:
