Good but could be better Comfortable but the strap loops do not stay in place. This causes the straps to bunch up in the narrow ends rather than staying flat on the wide sides.

Little adjustment Only had them for a little while but liking them so far. I did have to stitch some more Velcro at the end of the top strap. What was on there wasn't enough. Guess my ankle size and foot size don't match haha must have thin ankles! Besides that they are nice to have and I feel like I'm going to get a lot of wear out of them. I definitely have to say that I'm a Merrel/Vibram fan!!!!!

Happy hiker The size was better than expected since I ordered a Men's size; the heel was narrower than previously worn competitor brand which made the Merrell's fit my size 11AA foot perfectly. I put the Merrell's to the test on a two-night backpacking trip in Grand Canyon, and my feet have never been happier on the Canyon trails.

Excellent sandals for stand up paddling! Not all sandals are created equally and the Merrell All Out Blaze Sieve Convertible sandals easily distinguish themselves from the competition. In the interests of full disclosure, I’m a long time fan of Merrell shoes and outdoor wear. I have summited Mt. Whitney and a range of other peaks wearing Merrell boots and regularly wear a pair of their casual street shoes to work. Merrell shoes are consistently true to size. For sandals intended to be worn without socks, I recommend a half size smaller than what you’d choose for a normal shoe in order to achieve the optimum fit. The All Out Blaze Sieve Convertible’s are designed as hydro hikers, meaning they have a rugged, hiking style sole which can go in and out of water. This design attribute makes them ideally suited for stand up paddlers exploring rugged, rocky environments. I would also recommend them for any paddler who feels more comfortable wearing footwear while paddling. The Vibram® provide secure traction on wet surfaces, including submerged rocks, which is nice when you’re on a paddling excursion or on and off your board to snap your next selfie. I tested my pair throughout Southern California and found them particularly useful when hiking down to Bluff Cove, a favorite local paddling spot, along the Palos Verdes Peninsula. They provide great protection for your feet while allowing your toes to wiggle freely. If you are going on vacation to a beach or water sports destination and just want to take one pair of footwear, I highly recommend choosing the All Out Blaze Sieve Convertible sandals. Pick up a pair today and get out there and start exploring!

Quality of new shoes This is my second pair. First pair was a great experience, the newest pair has been altered a lot. The best example is the flimsy top strap. My first pair both the straps work as good as the first day I purchased them. The second pair has material between the Velcro parts that hold the Velcro pieces together and they already look like they wont make it a complete year before wearing out. I love that the heal straps are removable, and having the two adjustable straps over the foot area, this is the only reason I purchased the first pair. The comfort also has been changed, the new pair doesn't have the arch support that the first pair did. Because of my feet conditions I am forced to purchase this type of shoe, I wear them throughout the entire year, so I am forced to purchase this shoe with the changes that have been made. I hope that this honest comparison between the two shoes will make it to your designers and not just a review for readers.
