I am a nurse so i am on my feet all day long. I wear these shoes to work almost everyday. I have yet to find a more comfortable or better quality pair of shoes.

Excellent shoe---comfortable, good-looking. I'm an ER doc and my feet never get tired in these. Last pair lasted 7 years!

I love the encore groove for men. It is a fantastic wearing shoe for the most part. It is comfortable from the moment you first put the shoe on. It appears rugged and durable. However, when it comes to durability the reality is that it does not measure up to what I expected out of the shoe. I don't know if I just got a bad pair or what but after wearing the shoe for about two years the sole is separating from the leather. Both the leathers and the rubber soles still appear to have another ten years of wear left but I haven't quite figured out how I can wear them that long with each shoe in two separate parts (the sole separated from the leather). I expected more from the shoe than it delivered. I have to admit though, I haven't tried to get the shoes replaced so I don't know how the customer care people would deal with me if I knew how to contact them. That's my two cents worth. Howard
