I have been a Jungle Moc convert since they came on the market some years ago. First it was the generic black suede versions, Then, Nubuck and finally Leather. I like that I can wear these as sport shoes or for dress, they are versatile and comfortable. I wear mine till they have no soles left, then order replacments. When I saw the pro grip version, I remembered last winter, which here in the North East was a harsh one. My standard Mocs, have a cross hatch pattern on the soles and in a few icy situations they did leave something to be desired as far as traction. So this time around I ordered the Pro Grip versions. Cost a bit more, but the sole is a departure from the standard models. This will provide more grip as it has greater contact area and its pattern is designed to give you traction. I like the fact that they did away with the rear pull strap/loop. I never used it and used to black out the red colored anyway. That makes it more shoe like in its look. Comfort wise, this is still pure Moc comfort. A joy to walk in and very supportive. These make my feet feel less fatigued ,even after a whole day on hard surfaces. When my fett feel good, I feel good. Never stop making these, please. Ed R.
