Bought the Men's Pulsate, mid size, wide width. Excellent shoe, comfortable, good traction and actually waterproof, as advertised! Have had other Merrells in the past and was satisfied with them, as well, but they were not waterproof, so am enjoying this feature as well.

I've been wearing Merrill shoes exclusively for about 15 years now. I always wear a 12 wide and these fit exactly as they should. I've tested the waterproof capabilities and was very impressed. The tread life seems to be a little less than the normal Vibram soles I usually get. But, that's to be expected from a softer, more comfortable sole. The grip is much better than the other soles I've had. So, it's a good trade off I'll be buying these in the low ankle as soon as I can. I find these to be more comfortable than the Moabs. I've owned at least 3 pairs of those and I'll stick with these as long as they keep making them

I'm a long time Merrell fan in regards to outdoors/hiking footwear. I wanted to take that comfort to my job and that's when I found these. Ordered them online and they promptly came in. I found them to be a full size larger than my padded hikers. I called customer support and they quickly sent me a size smaller and they fit like a dream! Thank you Merrell! Sometimes you get what you pay for and this is one of those times! I'll be back!

Just picked up a pair of these. I would describe them as a cross between the Moab Mid and the Sawtooth. They have the sturdy upper feel of the Sawtooth but are a bit lighter. But they are definitely heavier duty than the Moab Mid. They run about 1/2 size larger than your running shoes AND the Moab Mids. I wear a 10.5 running shoes (and Moab Mid) but the 10s here are perfect. In other words, buy your BOOT size...

I've had these boots a few weeks now and have used them in Vermont mud season. so far, as good as it gets: only time will tell about boot longevity. My first concern was toe-box room. Having had toe surgery (bilateral cheilectomy for those who care), I need a boot that does not press or push upon my big toes. Merrell's unusual Wide option is decisive for me over any other boot manufacturer. These boots do fill the no-pain bill. No pain, plenty of room for toes to splay and bend naturally inside the boot. At the same time, plenty of support from the soles than my previous Merrells, a mode no longer manufactured, which were a bit on the moccassiny, thin-feeling side. In brief, I'm very pleased, and hope that these boots -- or something indistinguishable from them -- are still being manufactured when it's time for me to get my next pair.
