The Azura gives me light-weight stability during long walks. I've struggled with decreased balance due to health issues and this shoe enables me to regain much activity. It has a nice, slim look also which I appreciate. Thanks Merrell!

I've worn Merrell for many years. The lace up eye on the last pair broke. I thought that was unusual. I stayed with Merrell & bought the model "Azura." These shoes are NOT worth the price. They are attractive, but they don't have the same cushioning of the Merrell brand. They are not quality made shoes worth the $100 price tag. I'm going to switch brands after this. I'm very disappointed. Another company lowering quality to try to make more money. The problem being they will lose customers & make no money.

I have worn Merrill Shoes for over 5 years, and the first time I tried one on, I knew in an instant that these wre the shoes for me. When I went to a store to buy another pair, all I said was I want that color, put in a bag and I will pay cash, and I was out the door.

  • Love is the Azura shoe, 10.5, "kangaroo"

LOVE this shoe! And I mean "love" this shoe. I wear a 10.5 (for the uninitiated, that's a size that's hard to find) and over the last several years went through - very happily - two pairs of Merrell shoes that, yes came in 10.5, but were then discontinued. So, I had to hunt and hunt for something comfortable and that fit. Salespersons tried to tell me that I could add inserts to make a size 11 smaller, or that there's hardly any difference between a 10.5 and 11 so I should just take the 11. It took a lonnggg time (and some back and knee discomfort wearing the old, worn-out comfy shoes), but I've finally found these! I have the "kangaroo" color. The moss-green trim on it is kind of odd, but at least it doesn't stand out like so many others do. (Manufacturers of the new-fangled, brightly colored shoes don't seem to get it that some of us get away with wearing hiking shoes every chance we get - but we won't get away with much when the colors are loud and attention-grabbing.) "Kangaroo" is a mushroom brown with this - as I say - kind of moss-colored trim. Fairly subtle. So for comfort, fit, and looks - I've finally found love in my new hiking shoes!
