I got these shoes for everyday casual wear. I have had Merrells before. And so I pretty much knew what I was getting. A very well built shoe that does what it says. I took the insole out, they are pretty thin in all shoes and boots no matter who the maker is, and I replaced it with Downunders (http://www.downunders.us/) which I do to all my hiking boots, cowboy boots, and shoes. I still put Superfeet in my ski Boots because they have a shape edge which fits into my ski boots prefectly. But a sharp edge (on a footbed) cuts through the leather of my boots over time. I found that out the hard way years ago. Downunders have rounded edges and they are prefect fits for all my leather boots and shoes. The footbeds that come with shoes and boots are always too thin. With superfoot and Downunders....you dont even think about your feet all day.....on the trail....on the sidewalk.....or on the ski slopes. Anyways......with my Merrell Jungle Mocs, and Downunders footbeds, I am set for just about anything that Oregon can throw at me day in and day out. Merrell is what I wear....in Portland Oregon.
