My orthotics fit perfectly too.Thanks for making such a great shoe. I wear an 8.5 wide in the New Balance 993 running shoe (women's) and the size 9 in this shoe is an exact match.

I'm a professional dog walker. For the sake of support, I have conquered my aversion to lace-up shoes, and ordered these. I'm very pleased....I can vouch for the claim of "waterproof", having worn them through a rainy Michigan day for nine dog walks. I'm glad I ordered Wide width: perfect fit! Alas, as with other Merrell shoes, I had to swap out the insoles for Superfeets. Merrell insoles are just too generic to handle any amount of pronation.
