I just got a pair to try on and my feet are liking this shoe. I have a narrow heel and need room for my toes to move. These boots have a nice flexible sole and they are truly flat. The insole provides enough arch support without being intrusive and pressing on my arch. Wish there were more shoes out there like these but I think Merrell got it right with this design. I'm between an 8 1/2 and 9 and the 8 1/2 is plenty roomy.

My feet, especially my toes, would like to express extreme gratitude for these comfortable shoes. They often feel rebellious after a full day of urban trekking or rocky trails...but these shoes were a perfect fit straight out of the box. Also, the sexy pink color allows my feet to strut their stuff in style!

Wow, these shoes are awesome!! The comfort of this shoe has exceeded my expectations. I just received these yesterday and have worn them for walking and can't wait to go for a hike and see how they perform. I admit, I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes, I tried the Moab Ventilator and found it to be constricting but these feel like pillows. And, they look cute too!

I've never owned hiking SHOES, just boots and thought it might be a good idea to get some hiking SHOES for my hiking trip to Utah's national parks. My husband updated his Merrell Chameleon shoes to the newest ones that are out and he brags all the time about how comfortable they are and just how great the traction is so I decided to do some digging and find a similar pair for myself. After a lot of researching I found the Proterra Vim Sport (in pink of course). These shoes could not have been any more perfect!!! The fit, the color, the feel, all are just perfect! I cannot stress enough just how pleased I am with these shoes. They were PERFECT for hiking the rocky terrain in Utah and am proud to say that they helped me survive the hike on Angels Landing in Zion :) Whoohoo!!! The traction on rock from these shoes is unsurpassable in my opinion. I have Merrell hiking boots but I honestly don't see myself using them again anytime soon now that I've got these Merrell hiking shoes! We sent my family and friends many pics of our trip and they all commented on my cute hiking shoes :) I wear Merrells all the time. For work and play, Merrells are perfect :) Thank you for making such awesome shoes!!! :)
