I am a long time Merrell wearer. I own everything from boots to sandals. I am 6 foot 300lbs so I punish shoes. I have never had a bad pair of Merrells and these are no exception. The break in period was about 2 days and now they fit great. nice and sturdy.

About 7 years ago while limping around Key West in a "cheap" pair of sandals I wandered into a shoe store and found these sandals. Put them on and walked around town non-stop for the rest of the trip. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago on another trip to Key West and my original Merrels finally wore out, apparently I had worn the padding out underneath the straps. Went down to the same store and promptly bought another pair and proceeded to walk 4-5 miles a day for the rest of the trip in my brand new sandals. These are fantastic, don't change them and please don't ever stop making them!
