As soon as I saw these, I just HAD to have them! Definitely not what I was shopping for, but I just fell in love. I wear them daily for work, long shifts on my feet as a vet tech. I was a bit concerned about my feet slipping out, but have had no problems with this, even though they are about a half size too large. I needed a 10.5, but they only came in 10 or 11. 10 was definitely too small! I wear them with socks for work, and with socks or barefoot for play, and have had ho problems with blisters, although they do slip a bit barefoot due to the large size. As always with Merrells, they needed no break-in time. They have nice traction in muddy dog walk areas and on wet floors. I've receive complements every time I wear these and I have convinced my boss to give Merrells a try because of these lovely shoes.

I have half a dozen pair of Encore Breeze. I wear a size 8 and they fit me very well. The sole is very flexible. I ordered a pair of Encore Floras in size 8. They were very long. I returned them and ordered a size 7.5 and they were still too long. The soles were also very stiff so my foot would come out of the shoe as I walked. I didn't dare go to a size 7 for fear they would be too narrow for me. I returned the Floras. Either the Encore Breeze is short or the Encore Flora is long.

This is the 6th pair of Merrell's that I bought this year. I love the fit. I was alittle concerned about the synthetic leather upper but it does breath and my feet don't get sweatty.

I really love these shoes. Super cute, very comfortable. But after wearing them twice they began to squeak. The sound is going to drive me crazy.
