I spend most of the year wearing (Merrell) hiking boots because I have large feet and I need the support in my heels and arches. When the warm weather hits, I need something that gives just as much support without totally weighing down my foot. The Barefoot Life Spice Glove is it! So comfortable, soft yet flexible, and it makes my foot look smaller! (How do they do that?) The vibram sole makes this a sure-footed shoe, and the design is impeccable. I did not even have to "wear them in." No sore heels or toes! I might just buy another pair! Thanks for a great shoe.

THESE ARE MY FAVORITE SHOES EVER...READ ON TO SEE MY JOURNEY TO THIS CONCLUSION. When I first ordered my Spice Gloves I just wanted something comfortable and not too sporty looking. You see, I had just gotten a new pair of shoes from another brand...when I tried them on they were so comfortable but after wearing them for a couple of days, they lost their comfort and my feet and ankles were not happy :( ...So I found the spice glove and knew that I already like Merrel's barefoot soles (already own a pair of a mary jane type glove shoe). I ordered them thinking they weren't that cute, but at least they'll be comfortable and they are all one color. When they arrived I tried them on, they were to big (in length)! Oh no! But they were super cute on, not like I thought they would be. Yay! I debated sending them back, but ended up keeping them. Turns out the extra wiggle room is great because they aren't loose, but have just enough space for my feet to get some air, and they are just wide enough for my toes to have some space and spread out a little. THESE ARE MY FAVORITE SHOES I've ever owned! They are comfortable and cute, I can wear them without socks all day and my feet don't stink at the end of the day (what? how is this possible?) I've been wearing them every day (except one because it was rainy) since I got them a few weeks ago. They still don't smell, my feet don't stink... I'm getting another pair as soon as I can...maybe in black this time:) To the designers at Merrel- Please make this shoe for summer! It needs a non suede upper (so it can go in the water and still look okay after), something extremely breathable, maybe mesh should be involved, but not necessary. The vegan version would probably sell well, right? Please, Please, Please :)

I love the Spice Glove! It lives by my back door ready to be slipped on whenever I need to run an errand or meet friends for a quick bite. The convience of the slip on was just what I was looking for.

Exactly what I wanted...but I needed 1/2 size larger. Unfortunately, they didn't have it in my size. True to Merrell quality and craftsmanship.
