Hands down, these are the best shoes I've ever worn. Well, not this particular pair, but this style. I am a woman, and typically I wear Womens shoes, not Kids. But the Kids Jungle Moc appeared to be identical to the Womens model, so I gave this one a try because the Womens shoe was not available in my size (37). And the Kids shoe was. The only difference I notice is that the Kids 37 is both longer and wider than the Womens. I have to wear very thick wool socks with these to make them fit. I have partial paralysis in my right leg and weakness in my foot which results in drop toe. Couple that with relaxed arches, and walking can be very difficult with shoes that don't provide excellent support. These shoes offer good, solid support, exceptional comfort--and because the front of the sole (the toe) curves upward, I don't stub my toe like I do with other brands and styles. The Jungle Moc has gotten me through two springs semesters of teaching at a university in Shandong Province, China, and they still look great. A lot of walking is required, living in that city. And my Jungle Mocs held up to the wear and tear and helped me go through days that I otherwise wouldn't have made it through. That is the plain, unvarnished truth! I hope this style NEVER stops being made. The newer Merrell styles are cuter, maybe, but they aren't as supportive, and the cut and fit are different. Please, please, Merrell, never stop making your Jungle Mocs. I don't think I'd be able to get around without them!
