My 2 1/2 year old has a pair of the Infant Flux Gloves and they WERE by far the best toddler shoes on the market. He has worn them almost every day for about 6 months and they have worn extremely well. He is now growing out of them and the only problem is YOU DON'T MAKE THEM ANY MORE!!!! I doubt he can go all the way from an 8 up to a 10 so I am at a bit of a loss for his next pair of shoes. Please, please bring back the infant sizes!!!!

I'm an adult but have been enjoying the big kids Trail Glove for about 2 years and they have served me well! The only issue I have with them is that the bottom of my workout pants often stick to the Velcro closure on the top of the shoe. Since the Flux Glove became available, and the customer service rep told me that they were the exactly the same as the trail glove, only with a shoelaces instead of the Velcro, I was excited to give them a try. The Flux Gloves came today. Although they are cute, they are by no means the same as described. They have an excessive amount of mesh fabric on the upper part of the shoe and when they are laced and tied, the fabric puckers a lot. Only the widest of feet could find comfort in a shoe like this! The foot-bed is much wider too and the sole of the shoe has more traction under the big toe which gives the shoe a less natural feel..the sole isn't the same as it is shown to be on the Merrell website. I'll be exchanging them for the good old Trail Gloves tomorrow.

Like Eric said in his review, these are wonderful kids shoes, and I too am disappointed they are no longer available in infant sizes. My one-year-old and three-year-old have outgrown their Merrells--I was just coming on your web site to order bigger sizes for them, and couldn't believe they were no longer available in infant/toddler sizes. Please bring them back--I don't want to look elsewhere for their shoes!

Bought these for my 8 year old daughter. They run a bit large, but she says they are good and feel comfortable. She likes how she can stretch her toes out in them, she likes the colors, and they are comfortable when she runs and walks.

This is my son’s third pair of Merrell Barefoot shoes. He’s five now. He has 1 major pair of shoes that he wears for everything, and then a few pairs of shoes that he will wear on rare occasions. He previously wore the Merrell kid’s Trail Gloves, and loved them. We taught him to tie his shoes so that he could move up to the new kid’s Flux Glove. He will pretty much only wear socks if he's in shin guards or other shoes. I’m really curious about the Merrell naming of kid’s shoes. The kid’s Trail Glove had more of a road glove sole. The Flux Glove is more of Merrell’s road shoe, but the kid’s Flux glove features the adult Trail Glove tread. Whatever. My son loves running trails with me, and was anxiously waiting for some more tread-y shoes. Why do I love these shoes for him? Flexible: They move with his foot, he can roll them in a ball. 0-drop, and thin. While they look like adult trail gloves, I think they are missing the rock plate and seem a bit thinner/more flexible than the kids trail gloves. This may be in part due to the lack of the wider base in the kid’s Trail glove, which I never thought was needed. Functional: They look great with jeans, and serve him well at sports and play. He runs trails, goes to school, plays soccer, wades creeks, climbs trees, goes to church, stomps puddles in these shoes. They are game for whatever he is. Durable: My son outgrows these shoes, but destroys others. Only non-issue: laces. Be sure you note that this shoe has laces. The kid’s Trail Glove is Velcro.
