I've been wearing the Barefoot Trail Glove to work every other day all summer long, but my feet were getting chilly lately! These new Barefoot leather shoes are sized larger than the Trail Glove. That works great because I can wear my SmartWool socks and still have plenty of room in the shoes. One thing concerning me is the scuffs they've already picked up. I hope it's not a sign the leather isn't going to last well! My other concern is whether they're grippy enough to wear on wet concrete when snow get tracked in.

We ordered the Barefoot Reach Glove for my son, sight unseen, for use as his school shoes. His uniform requires a solid black or white shoe. They've been fantastic for regular school use as well as for his gymnasium time. They're a great addition to his Trail Gloves. We've seen time and time again how the barefoot style shoe benefits him as he runs and walks. I hope that Merrell continues to offer various styles of their Barefoot shoes for children. My 8 month old should be walking soon and we're going to get him a pair of the Barefoot Flux Glove Infants.

We bought these for my son's uniform shoes. I'm so happy to have a barefoot shoe option that is within our school's dress code. My son loves them. He's been wearing them all the time. They work well with both socks and without them, we haven't had any blisters. Love these shoes! (I hope you guys add a girl's barefoot maryjane in solid black too. We need girl's uniform shoes too.)
