I have been buying Merrell shoes for years now and I often find that the shoes are comfortable and durable. When I first saw these boots I had to have them. I didn't even have to break the shoes in- they were comfortable the first time I wore them. I wear these boots everywhere. I do some light hiking in them, I wear them to school, I wear them with dresses when it rains. I have also had sooooo many compliments on the boots. The only problem I have had with the boots is the buttons keep coming off. The first time it happened I contacted customer service and they sent me a whole bunch of buttons for FREE. Merrell also offered to cover up to $25 dollars for the repair. I had the shoes repaired at a local shoe shop. The second time the buttons fell off I repaired the shoes on my own. They still look great. I definitely recommend these boots and any other Merrell shoes. Although, their shoes are expensive they are comfortable and stylish. Merrell also provides some of the best customer service I have ever had.

Love these boots.Very comfortable. Have received many compliments on them,however lost a button after wearing them only three times.Is there a way to get the boot repaired?

Recently bought the Captiva boot. I love them. They are VERY confortable and stylish. I wear a size 7 and bought size 71/2 due to wearing socks under boot.

This is a great all-purpose boot. Cute to wear out with dresses and skirts, or with jeans, but also very practical. I shoveled snow in them, and my feet stayed dry and warm. I also wore them to a museum with my 2-year old daughter, and the boots were very comfortable after a full day of toddler wrangling. There is a bit of extra room in the heel, so they don't work well with thin socks (at least for me).
