I bought these after my leg was broken in 2 places, crutches for 3 months and a surgery and a cam boot for an additional 1 month. My ankle was swollen and my foot hurt most of the time. I play in a band and needed boots to stand and gig in, but my frye cowboy boots were not going to cut it. These were my lifesaver. I have worn these for 10 gigs so far and each time, my feet feel GREAT afterward. The cushion on the bottom is wonderful. They have awesome support and grip. I always get compliments from guys and girls when I wear these (I have the cinnamon color) especially when I wear them with dresses. They look cute and stylish. Thank you merrell for saving me from foot and ankle pain!

I like these boots very much and Tespecially like the sticky sole. This is the most stable boot I've ever worn -- no ankle turning. This is the second pair of this boot I've purchased, so now I have short and tall. I recommended the boot to three people who are very happy with theirs.

I purchased the boots (online, always a scary thought to purchase without trying them on for size) for an upcoming trip to London and then up to the Scottish Highlands. I was particularly looking for a pair of shoes that were both stylish and would keep my feet dry in the wet weather. Also, they needed to be very comfortable for the large amount of planned walking. I love my hiking boots, but they just weren't going to cut it style-wise on the streets of London. Product fit true to my Merrell hiking boots (8.5). The leather on the ankles is a bit stiff when shoving your feet in the first few times, but it's already loosening up. Product appears to be very sturdy and well made. Haven't had a chance to test the waterproofing yet; however, I have no worries in that regards. The espresso color is lovely, though I'm totally being tempted to augment my boot stash with the other colors as well. Thanks for another great product! :)

I honestly didn't expect these boots (or any for that matter)to be so perfect in all ways. They are me to the core - functional, practical, durable, and on top of that stylish. I really am amazed. I work 8 hours a day on my feet and literally wear them everyday. As I type I have come home from work and am sitting on the couch with my boots on. I read some of the other reviews and was truly surprised to see the exact kind of things being said. I work in the Rockies and we have snow I have to walk through to get to and from buildings at times - no problem. Traction good and no wet socks. You truly have created an incredible boot and I thank you. I am not in the market for a pair of sandals and you better believe I will be getting Merrells. I was a Keen fan but now I am a SOLID Merrell fan for all my shoes. I know this all sounds super fantastic but this is real. It is really how I feel and I don't throw around compliments (oh that sounded so cliche too!) Anyway - keep up the good work Merrell!!!!

I love these boots! They are incredibly comfortable and look great. My typical size fits perfect (9) and I can wear thin socks or thick socks no problem. They are really secure and never feel like they are falling down. I'm 5 months pregnant and only have occasional swelling but have had no problems with wearing these boots. The calf does fit tightly, but I have slightly bigger calves, and when zipping them up there is some resistance. However, once they're zipped, you'd never know it was a tight zip. I can also squeeze in boot cuffs and even though, again, it's tougher to zip up, once they're zipped you'd never know. I do feel that after wearing 12+ hours, my feet start to get a little stinky. I have other Merrells that have the antimicrobial treatment and I don't notice odor, but in these I have started wearing light wool socks so that I have two levels of antimicrobial action (wool is naturally antimicrobial). Even with the wool socks my feet don't feel overheated. When I bought these boots, I knew I wanted a pair of Merrell boots, and I just liked these best out of the options they had. I like how they look but it wasn't the look that swayed my purchase, it was the history of comfort and quality with Merrell shoes. That said, these boots practically sell themselves. Several people, some even strangers, have stopped and asked me where I got my boots. Those that I know have order a pair in black and brown! I don't mind sharing the style :). It's funny how many compliments I get on them, when looks wasn't my initial purchasing reason!
