I bought this pair of shoes because I wanted a winter/water-proof slip on. I am tired of lacing up shoes as all my other Merrell 3 season shoes are either slip ons or sandals (flips). I decided to give this model I try based on the way it looks and on the reviews. Initially I ordered a size 9 in black but after they arrived and I wore them a few days walking at length in the snow, I found they were too small, particularly the right one. I also decided I wasn't too keen on the black color after all. So I returned them to Merrell who replaced them with size 9.5 in the dark earth color. Now they fit just about right and look great. My wife even complemented me on them. I wore them in the snow/ice in VA and then went to WI and wore them there in snow and ice. Came back to VA and wore them in snow/slush/rain. So far, they have kept my foot temperature just right while also keeping my feet nice and dry, both from snow/slush/rain on the outside and sweat on the inside. The customer service was quick and pleasant which can't be said for many companies anymore. I plan to stick with Merrell for all my and my wife's shoe needs going forward.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. It broke-in in just the 4th time i wore it. As it was waterproof i had to buy the next higher size because of the insulation packing inside. It was a good calculation. I live in Budd Lake, New Jersey. These are Wonderful in Rain and Snow. Thank you Merrell

Excellent Product! would recommend to anyone seeking cold weather slip-on that fits snug as a lace up shoe. Especially like Vibram sole which is nicely molded and has great traction. Only down side is that they don't come in widths.

This is my second pair of Shiver Moc's. The first pair lasted a year and a half of hard everyday barn use before developing a leak. I was very pleased. The more aggressive soles on the Shiver Moc 2 are great in our Vermont mud and snow and they seem to keep my feet even warmer than the Shiver Moc. I recommend these shoes.

I had the first shiver mocs and I loved them, the sole is in perfect condition. I only use them for chicken shoes cause they are too small now after 2 years. The new version I think I like even better! They seem a bit more stylish, but they still have the same rugged sole that can stand brutal hiking and running. I like how they have orange lines on the slip on part, if that made sense. I also like the deep rich color, and the fact that they look nice but can still be used as a daily pair of shoes. They look amazing, and feel amazing. The one thing about the product is that the first 10 minutes about while I wearing them, they slip a little, but then they seem to fit to your foot. So if they are a bit loose at first don't worry, they will fit perfectly. Thanks again Merrell, the only brand better than Nike. :) I also got these babes for half of at Dillard's, on presidents day which makes it even better.
