Upon first inspection the build quality of these boots is very evident. Upon fitting, the firm molding and strong support of these boots make them very comfortable. When wearing them in icy conditions the sole, which emulates a wolfs paw, finds traction where many others would fail. In snowy and wet conditions the sealed seams keep water out while the ample insulation keep your feet warm. The air circulation system actually seems to regulate temperature when moving and when standing still. These boots or awesome.

I have several pairs of Merrell footwear. I needed a good cold weather boot for the midwest. Size was true to what my other pairs of Merrell's were. It definitely keeps you feet warm and they are comfortable. Mine are new and not broken in yet. Took them out on a 2.5 mile hike and they performed well with no issues. Will report back later with better info. Good so far.

I'm overseas right now in Kyrgyzstan and had these boots delivered. I've been in a harsh cold climate condition for the past three months now and was looking for finding foot comfort in these boots. After wearing them , finding that comfort without having to break them in I thought I'd hit paydirt. But to little avail after temps dipped below 32 degrees and having to stand on sheets of ice and cold scaffold while at work, my toes began to feel the nip once again. Not forgetting the waterlogged footbed after trudging through mud and melted snow wicking into the part where sole meets boot. Not WORTH THE PRICE I PAID FOR. BUY SORREL AND SAVE YOUR MONEY !
