The sophisticated, full grain leather, chukka upper has internal support that secures the midfoot over our Barefoot midsole design -- aligning your body and letting you move the way nature intended. A microthin, 1mm flexible forefoot shock plate protects against bruising.

It is the first standard width shoe I've been able to wear comfortably , even with socks. It's my second favorite shoe ever, just after the wonderful Merrell Barcelona that was available in 2011 but never since. These shoes are head turners wherever you go. Advice: Buy this one now, plus a second pair as they'll let it go after this season.

These shoes are great! they fit perfectly, and have been comfortable on just about any surface I've walked on. Plus, they go quite well with every outfit I wear, which makes these shoes extremely unique (and well worth the price). Great job, Merrell!

I've been wearing Vibram Five-Fingers for almost five years and they are my preferred footwear. Problem is, they're not work friendly. The barefoot life reach glove (what a super-long awkward name) is perfect in my business casual work environment if you want a zero-drop shoe that doesn't attract the unwanted attention of your boss like the VFF. Now all they need to do is develop a barefoot shoe that works with a suit.
