Sized as Expected
I purchased this jacket to fill in for the early fall season as my older softshells were aging and falling apart. This jacket is perfect mix of breathability and wind protection, while staying light weight and durable. The only issues I have with the jacket are the size. I normally wear a medium jacket. The large size fits my torso perfect, but the sleeves are a little too long. The medium sleeves were just right, but the torso was a tad tight. Other than that issue, I enjoy the jacket on medium to long hikes in the PNW mountains. Thanks for the great product!
Thank you for the awesome review and input on sizing, we appreciate it.
Smaller than Expected
Hiking, around town.
I ordered this jacket a few weeks ago wanting a light weight stretchy softshell to replace my not so stretchy Columbia softshells. I was very happy to see that the material was thin and stretchy and the medium fit me nearly perfectly(6ft 150lbs). The bottom was a bit wide for me but the draw cords cinched it right up and work great. Keeps the wind and chill off on bike rides and is very comfortable around 45-60 degrees. My only complaint is that its not as water resistant as I had hoped. The first few drops of rain beaded off fairly well and then proceeded to soak in after that. With that said the rain never actually made it all the way through it just soaked into the first layer. Overall this fits the bill pretty well for what I wanted!
