I am 5'8", 160 pounds and I bought a 12 in these shorts. They are a great fit! I usually have a difficult time finding pants that are big enough to fit my hips but then small enough to fit around my waist. These are a PERFECT fit. I only wish the Kaliopi capris were the same?! The same size in the capri fit entirely different and the same size was too tight. Great shorts, worth the price.
