These sandals are great. They have the comfort and durability of any Merrell product, but they are super easy to dress up! I bought them for a trip to Europe this summer thinking nicer sandals would be a bit classier. I have no concerns about walking all over Italy in them. Some reviewers have stated they are difficult to get on, and that hasn't been an issue for me at all. They do seem to run a bit wider in the toe than I was expecting, but it isn't a problem. Love them!

Color of shoes is a nice orange as shown and are very comfortable and attractive. I would buy them again and recommend the shoes and Merrell to others.

nice sandal, comfortable to walk in. A little tight to get on so I use a shoe horn but once on fits great. Would buy again.

I have worn the Flaxen all day long at least three times in the last two weeks. They provide excellent arch support (very important to me) and my feet do not feel tired at the end of the day. At first the right shoe rubbed a little near my ankle, but after a day that stopped. I like the closed back feature that most sandals do not have. The color olive is actually a very dark olive. I recommend this shoe for comfort as well as low-key style.
