Merrell is the only company I have found to make sandals with any real comfortable arch support. I purchased a pair of Stellablooms last year and they are still in almost new condition, despite the nearly daily use they had last spring, summer and fall. I couldn't wait to wear them this year. I am already wearing these, and would not want to part with them. This pair is very much like the older version, the Savannah, and I still own several pairs of them too. I own over 30 pairs of Merrell shoes, work shoes, sandals, boots and sneakers. Through the years, I have also purchased this brand for my now adult children and family members as gifts, upon request. Everyone always puts these on their wish lists, and it makes my shopping easier. Many, many years ago, I had a pair of suede Merrell shoes, which got stained by salt water. I thought they were ruined, so, I put them in the washing machine, to give it a try. I let them air dry, and insoles were air dried separately, as well. I never thought they would recover, but they were as good as new, I'm not kidding. My only critique would be that you add pastel colors to this line.

The only reason I gave it 1 star is because of the fit. The shoe is gorgeous...however, not made for a fat foot. If you have any meat on the top part of your foot, this shoe will kill your feet. Otherwise, it is gorgeous. I love Merrell so much, that I could not send it back, but I gave it to a lucky friend of mine with a slender foot.

Ive had both hips replaced, and your sandals are the only "shoes" I can wear with the support and comfort I need. I have been buys your savanah style for at least 6 years..have had 9 pairs..this year the style has changed and also the name..stellabloom they are a bit wider, but awsome, I have NEVER had a problem with any of these sandals..except for today, the thong between the toe came out of my right sandal...go figure but other wise never a problem...(hoping to have this little problem resolved, but I do have faith in merrell) thanks for such a great product

Stellabloom deserves all 5 stars! Perfect fit, perfect support, perfect comfort. I chose the very attractive Silver Birch color and wear them as slippers and as walking sandals. The adjustable strap on the back allows me to fit each sandal exactly to each foot. They are a dream and I think I'll order another color as well. One tip: I broke them in slowly, over a few days which eliminated any discomfort with the strap between the big toe and the rest of the toes.

I am 68 years old and arthritic. I only buy Merrells.
