Just bought these shoes a month ago.They really don't need a break-in period but I have been hiking alot. The fit is truely like a glove. The true test will come in several weeks when I will be hiking the trails of Yosemite Park. I'am sure they will perform well. These are my favorite Merrell's I've owned to date. These are about the most comfortable pair of shoes that I've ever worn, and I've worn many. Since they're one piece construction, without a tongue, and the elastic laces gives when you walk, they fit more like a glove than a shoe. Also, they have a Vibram lug sole, to which I am a big fan. As the Terminator so eloquently said, "I'll be back."

Best Merrill shoes to date! Just bought a pair of geomorph maze stretch shoes, I love them. I went to Academy sports store to buy the same model of merrell shoes that I currently own unfortunately they didn't have the color I was looking for. I decided to try on the geomorph maze stretch that was in stock & I fell in love with the new design. The shoe fits super snug but not to tight. The new lace looks very clean and works better then the old fashioned two ended type that always comes apart & has to be re-tied. I'm very satisfied with the comfort & fit from day one. Please keep making these shoes! If you do, I'm gonna be a Merrell buyer for life!!!!!

My girlfriend's mom's fiancé gave me a pair of his old Merrell World Legends and I loved how comfortable they were. A few weeks back I stumbled across a pair of the Geomorph Maze Stretches (Boulder/Burnt Orange) at Ross while I was in Florida and managed to pick them up for only $45!! What a deal! I would have gladly paid full retail price if I could afford to drop $100 bucks on a pair of shoes, but like anyone else, I'm not gonna pass up a deal to get a quality product at a great price. I do a lot of hiking and adventuring and these shoes provide comfort, support, style, and just an overall great feel. Merrells are definitely at the top of my list!
