He likes the fabric flap that covers the top of the zipper by his neck, and the pocket on the chest. He is hot natured, and doesn't like to wear bulky coats, so this is the perfect outer layer for him.

I absolutely love the look of this pullover and have gotten several compliments in the few times I've worn it so far. I'm 5'10", 155 lbs. and originally went with the medium, but found that the small was a better fit. The only change I would ask for is for more room in the armpits. I have to make sure I wear the right shirt underneath because a baggier undershirt causes the material to bunch up in the armpits of this pullover. Not a big deal, though; it's just a little tighter than expected. This really feels like a quality garment and I love the color of the cinder heather. Should be a good layering item this ski season and I would definitely take it on colder hikes.

I've loved this jacket from day one, and have received many comments wearing it out and about.My co-workers must think I have no other outer layer. I wore my cinder heather so much last winter/spring. This summer I ordered the basalt heather (with newly designed zipper pocket/logo placement) and hope they'll realize I do have more than one as the weather starts cooling down.

This is the first piece of Merrell gear I've had the pleasure of owning that makes use of the "conductor" fleece. I was quick to fall in love with this piece and I don't see my attitude changing anytime soon! It looks great and is quite soft to the touch. The fit is perfect with enough room for movement in all the right places and an adjustable hip cord. As others have mentioned, heat retention is excellent while still maintaining a nice amount of "breathability". It's slightly thinner than an online shopper might expect, but it still manages to keep one toasty while not looking or feeling bulky. They did a superb job on this one!
