I have lived in this lightweight, non-binding, very warm, soft long "sweater" all winter. The collar keeps my neck warm---and I can open it on warmer days. I wear it over a black turtleneck and winter silk camisole. This has become my uniform. I wear it with jeans or with short corduroy skirts/tights/tall boots. This is perhaps the best winter garment I have ever purchased. And Merrell's beyond wonderful long all-weather trench coat fits beautifully over all these layers.
